About
Arithmetic for the people behind the counter.
Snack stands at games and events are usually run by volunteers with a cash box, a tally sheet and a phone. Standwise is the calculator they would build if they had the time: what each item really costs out of the case, what to charge, how much to buy, and whether the drawer matches the tally at the end of the night.
What it does
- Price Board: cost each from the case price, profit, margin and markup, and the lowest price on a 25-cent, 50-cent or dollar step that keeps the margin you choose.
- Buy List: your expected crowd times the share you expect to buy each item, rounded up to whole cases, with spend and break-even.
- Cash Box: float and close-out counts by bill and coin, card sales, and over/short against the tally.
- Stand Book: a private-link notebook of the season with a free season report and each item's share of the crowd; the Stand Pass adds the whole season, a CSV and a printable sheet.
What it does not do
- It does not take payments for your stand or connect to a card reader.
- It does not tell you how many people will buy. The 10% starting share is a placeholder; your own tally is the real number.
- It does not give food-safety or permit advice. Many places require a licence or permit for temporary food sales; ask your local health department.
